The Anthony J. Fulginiti Chapter at Rowan University

AJF-PRSSA remains the preeminent, pre-professional organization for Rowan students pursuing careers in PR and related fields. In its 40 year history, AJF-PRSSA has won over 200 regional and national awards and persists as one of the most awarded chapters in the nation. Members enjoy workshops such as resumé, LinkedIn and business card workshops, as well as the infamous Speaker Series, where alumni from Fortune 500 companies speak about the profession and its opportunities.

AJF-PRSSA is named after its chapter founder, professor Anthony J. Fulginiti. For four decades, the chapter has fostered life-long learning in its students and built successful professionals out of dedicated members. Tactile skills our members learn include:
  • Networking
  • Public speaking
  • Event planning
  • Excellence in AP style writing
  • Pitching
  • ...and more!

Not only do members network with professionals all over the world, but they build their portfolio by volunteering in our committees and at our philanthropic events. AJF-PRSSA hosts the National Organ Donation Awareness Competition (NODAC) to drive awareness and education about the importance of organ donation; in 2017, we will take our Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Competition (CFAC) national! For these events, PRSSA chapters across the nation complete semester-long PR plans to execute a day of giving on their campus.

The Public Relations Student Society of America, comprised of nearly 12,000 students at colleges and universities in the U.S. and Mexico, remains dedicated to advancing the profession and the future professional.
